There are several ways to reach the Villageā€¦use the directions below, and if you need more directions, please contact us.
DO NOT RELY ON MAPQUEST or any other such program that relies on the address to provide directions. Our GPS coordinates are: N 35 21' 20.35" and W 083 33' 15.22"

From Atlanta ( via GA Hwy 515)
Take I-75 North to I-575 North, which becomes Ga Highway 515. Continue approximately one hour and forty five minutes then just north of Blue Ridge, turn left (west) on route 60 toward Mineral Bluff . This left turn is approximately 4 miles past Blue Ridge and occurs at a traffic light. Go 2 miles to Mineral Bluff, then turn right on "60 spur". Go approximately 12 miles to a stop sign, junction with 19/74. Turn right (east) toward Murphy, NC. Continue on Hwy. 74 for 50 minutes to an hour and we are 3.5 miles past the Nantahala Outdoor Center and the lodge will be on your left.


From Atlanta ( via I-85)
Take I-85 North to GA 365/I-985. Continue on GA 365/I-985 until it ends at US 441 North near Gainesville, Georgia. Follow US 441 North to Dillsboro, North Carolina. Go through the red light in Dillsboro and take Hwy. 74 West. Continue on Hwy. 74 for approximately 30 minutes until the road becomes two-lane. Stay in the left lane and the lodge will be at the top of the hill on the right.


From Asheville
Take I-40 West to exit 27 which is Hwy. 74 West. Continue on Hwy. 74 (DO NOT EXIT) until the road becomes two-lane. Stay in the left lane and the lodge will be (approx. one half mile) at the top of the hill on the right. It is approximately one hour from I-40 in Asheville to the Nantahala Village


From Raleigh, Greensboro, Statesville
Take I-40 West to exit 27 which is Hwy. 74 West. Continue on Hwy. 74 (DO NOT EXIT) for approximately 45 miles until the road becomes two-lane. Stay in the left lane and the lodge will be at the top of the hill on the right. It is approximately one hour from I-40 to Nantahala Village.


From Knoxville (via I-40)
Take I-40 East and, after crossing the TN/NC border, take exit 27 which is Hwy. 74 West. Continue on Hwy. 74 until the road becomes two-lane. Stay in the left lane and the lodge will be at the top of the hill on the right. It is approximately one hour from I-40 to Nantahala Village.


From Knoxville ( via the Great Smoky Mountains National Park )
(Depending on traffic this trip could take up to 4 hours. Average driving time is approximately 2.5 hours.) Take I-40 East to exit 407. From the exit ramp take a right. In Sevierville, TN, take US 441 South through the Park to Cherokee, NC. (441 takes you through Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, TN. It is possible to by-pass Gatlinburg, but please watch carefully as the brown Park Service exit sign is easily missed.) Continue past Cherokee on 441 south for approximately ten minutes, then take Hwy. 74 West toward Bryson City. Continue on Hwy. 74 until the road becomes two-lane. Stay in the left lane and the lodge will be at the top of the hill on the right. It is approximately 30 minutes from Cherokee to Nantahala Village.


From Knoxville ( via US 129)
Take 129 South and after crossing the TN/NC border take Hwy. 28 South. Continue approximately 40 miles to a stop sign, junction with 19/74. Turn right onto Hwy. 74 (west) and the lodge will be at the top of the hill on the right. This is a VERY curvy road. At one point there are over 300 curves in eleven miles. This is known as "The Dragon" and is world famous in motorcycle and sports car circles.


From Chattanooga
From I-75 take US 64 East into North Carolina. In Murphy, NC, take Hwy. 74 East. Continue on Hwy. 74 for 50 minutes to an hour and we are 3.5 miles past the Nantahala Outdoor Center. The lodge will be on your left.


Directions To Atlanta
Take Hwy. 74 West to Murphy. Pass McDonalds and it is approximately 10 minutes to the next red light. Continue through this light then get in the left lane and prepare to make a left turn onto "Highway 60". Go approximately 12 miles to a "t" intersection in the town of Mineral Bluff. Turn left, go 2 miles to junction with major four lane, Route 5. Turn right, follow signs from there directly to Atlanta.
